My young adults novel Hallowe'en won first prize in the Writers' Advice Centre competition.
My adult crime novel, Kill and Tell, was a runner-up in one of the first Andrea Badenoch Awards run by New Writing North and it was also placed third in the 2009 Luke Bitmead Bursary Awards. My short story Alopecia won second prize in the 2009 Wells Festival of Literature Competition.
